cylindrical design Vessel designed for 14.9 psi and full vacuum rated at 29.92” Hg. This machine is designed for continues operation but was previously used in a batch process. The jacket is two zone style with 3” half pipe. The manufacturer indicated this machine is designed for sanitary applications. The agitator shaft is not cored for heating, 6” diameter 304 SS, with 12, ¾” thick posts and paddles. Paddles are 12” long x 6.5” wide. Agitator clearance is 1/8” nominal at the lowest point. Rotation of the agitator is counter clockwise at 25 rpm. Agitator is driven by a right angle geardrive manufactured by SEW Eurodrive with a 40 Hp AC motor. Model # KAF157DV200L4. The geardrive has a 70.38:1 ratio rotating the output shaft at 25 rpm. The agitator is sealed by two Woodex, fully spit Meco mechanical seals, and rides on two Dodge expansion type flange bearings. Top connections are one 24” flanged nozzle for vacuum filter, one 24” manway, and one 16” loading flange. Discharge nozzle is 8” flanged. Shell is wrapped with 14 Gauge 304 SS, covering 2” thick Ceramawol insulation designed to limit the dryers exterior temperature to <140 degrees F. The baghouse filter is 304 SS, and is 32” in diameter x 62” high. The bottom of the dust collector bolts directly to the dryer by a flange, and the top has a bolted 28” diameter man way for filter changes.
